Why Literacy Foundations (Intensive Course)?

Literacy Foundations (Intensive Course) is a 2-day Digital Montessori bootcamp for educators, school leaders, and aspiring teachers. It strengthens Montessori literacy principles and shows how to apply them responsibly in today’s digital transformation (DX) learning environments—enhancing, not replacing, developmentally appropriate practice.

With 1,200+ graduates in Japanthe course helps professionals strengthen classroom literacy practice and refine their instructional and organisational vision for today’s learning environments. It is also a cornerstone for many alumni, supporting career advancement and the establishment of SEELS International Preschool initiatives and programmes in Japan and other Asian countries.

Internationally, the programme was featured by SEELS Teachers Academy as an official breakout session, “Marrying Montessori Education and Society 5.0,” at the 29th AMI International Congress held at Queen Sirikit National Stadium, Bangkok (2–5 Aug 2023).
