Japan Diploma Pathway
A one-year SEELS diploma from October 2026 through September 2027
The SEELS Digital Montessori Education Diploma is a Japan-based 360-hour teacher-formation program for educators, aspiring educators, future proprietors and Montessori-inspired practitioners. Learners may join a complete cohort or proceed through a flexible module route after the Introductory Course.

This Japan-based program is designed for teachers, aspiring educators, SEELS partner-school operators, and future Montessori-inspired practitioners who want a more structured professional pathway in practice, implementation, and school-building support.

Same tuition for both formats: Delivery format is not a pricing tier. Classroom and live-online participants receive the same SEELS curriculum, instructor guidance, assignments, assessment standards and diploma pathway.
UCCJ Kitasenju Church serves as the Batch 71 classroom venue. The DME program is provided and administered by SEELS Co., Ltd. Venue use does not itself indicate church sponsorship, accreditation or responsibility for the program.
Certification Pathway
Introductory Course → 9 Specialist Modules → Full SEELS Diploma
The Introductory Course is required before entering the specialist modular track. It is a separate foundation course and is not counted as one of the 9 specialist modules.

Qualified to Run Speak and Code Juku
Diploma holders may also apply to progress toward operating the Speak and Code Juku after-school program in Japan or the Philippines, subject to a separate agreement, SEELS standards and applicable local requirements.

All amounts include Japanese consumption tax. Classroom and live-online participants pay the same tuition when following the same course pathway.
Full DME Cohort
¥198,000 IC + complete diploma route, tax included

Flexible Module Route
¥216,000 total if all stages are completed, tax included
Per stage: IC = ¥18,000, then each module = ¥22,000

Consideration: Completing all stages separately costs ¥18,000 more than joining the full cohort and may take longer because module dates depend on availability.
Independent Introductory Course
¥18,000 complete two-day training, tax included
Purpose: Certificate, practical skills and professional knowledge
- May be taken without joining the one-year DME
- Two days of focused teacher-development training
- Certificate of Completion after required activities
- Classroom and live-online options use the same fee
Pathway credit: The ¥18,000 IC tuition may be credited toward the ¥198,000 full cohort tuition when the learner upgrades within 12 months and meets the current admission conditions.
If you upgrade after completing the IC: When the ¥18,000 credit applies, the remaining full-cohort balance is ¥180,000. An example payment arrangement is ¥15,000 per month for 12 months. Final payment dates and conditions are stated in the learner's written enrollment agreement.

IC Certificate of Completion
Issued after completing both training days and the required Introductory Course activities. Learners may stop after the IC or continue into the DME pathway.

Issued after each specialist module is completed with required lecture participation, practical outputs, and assessment.

SEELS Diploma Award
Awarded only after all required modules, demonstrations, practical requirements, and final competency expectations are completed.

Important Note
What counts toward the final SEELS diploma
The Introductory Course is required but separate. Completion of only one or several modules does not yet constitute full diploma completion. The final SEELS Digital Montessori Education Diploma is granted only after full completion of the required pathway.
