At the core of DXFFC are two powerful initiatives that define our impact: the Digitize Local, Inspire Global cultural program and the Teach Local, Reach Global economic empowerment track. The first preserves Santa Barbara’s heritage through digital archives, storytelling, and creative tech, while the second trains and deploys local teachers to deliver English, Math, EQ, and Coding lessons to Japanese learners online. Together, they form a model for inclusive, future-ready communities where culture and careers grow side by side.

The Santa Barbara DX Future Fluency Center (DXFFC) is a public-private initiative committed to transforming the town of Santa Barbara, Iloilo into a digitally empowered learning and teaching community. DXFFC bridges generations and global markets by combining the preservation of local culture with global education delivery. Our work is grounded in inclusive growth, empowering youth, women, senior citizens, and PWDs through skills development, cultural pride, and digital livelihood opportunities.

📘 About Us

The Santa Barbara DX Future Fluency Center (DXFFC) is a pioneering educational initiative co-developed by the Local Government of Santa Barbara in partnership with SEELS Teachers Academy (Japan) and Scuola Dei Bambini. This program exemplifies a grassroots, cross-border collaboration to deliver inclusive, future-ready education. We provide training, certification, and deployment for local educators to serve global learners, especially in Japan.

We also lead initiatives to document, digitize, and celebrate the unique cultural heritage of Santa Barbara through multimedia, archives, and creative innovation. Our DX Hub offers accessible digital resources, ongoing mentorship, and inclusive learning programs.
