The program consists of two progressive phases: The program is conducted online, offering flexible scheduling and a salary-deducted training fee for advanced learners. It is ideal for those seeking meaningful teaching opportunities, professional certification, and community impact.

Training Program Structure


Phase 1:

    Basic Abacus Teacher Training
    • Learn foundational mental math and abacus instruction techniques.
    • Designed for aspiring instructors who wish to teach Japanese online.
    • Registration Fee: 500 Pesos only Limited-time promo: ₱500 until June 1, 2025 - ₱800 thereafter.
    • Certificate of Completion issued upon passing the Basic course.

Intermediate Abacus + English Teaching Integration

  • Eligible only for those who pass the Basic Abacus course.
  • Deepen abacus instruction and integrate teaching English to young learners.
  • Trainees will be considered for teaching roles in Speak and Code Schools in Japan.
  • Training Fee: 2,500 Pesos (to be salary-deducted upon start of part-time teaching job)

Is this training open to K12 graduates only ?

No. While the program targets K–12 graduates, it is also open to educators, tutors, and professionals who want to become certified Abacus instructors.

Do I need to know Abacus already to join?  

Not at all. The Basic Abacus Training is designed for beginners.

Is it required to take both Phase 1 and Phase 2 training?

No. Completing Phase 1 allows you to teach Abacus locally. Those who proceed to Phase 2 are trained to integrate English and are eligible for global teaching roles, particularly through our Speak and Code Japan franchise.

What if I cannot afford the Phase 2 training fee?  

The ₱2,500 training fee is salary-deducted once you begin your part-time teaching job—no upfront payment needed.

Can I teach Japanese students online from the Philippines?  

Yes! Successful trainees can qualify to teach part-time through our Japan-based Speak and Code network.

Can tutorial centers adopt this program?  

Absolutely. Owners and managers of tutorial centers may enroll and implement Abacus MindMath as a certified offering.
