Program overview
Study for practical use—not only for a paper credential
The DME is designed for educators, aspiring educators, tutorial providers and Montessori-inspired practitioners who want structured learning connected to real teaching practice.
Learners complete the Introductory Course, progress through nine specialist modules, prepare learning materials, submit practical work and demonstrate their ability to present lessons responsibly. The SEELS Diploma is awarded only after all stated requirements are completed.

Classroom and live-online learners pay the same tuition
Both formats follow the same curriculum, assignments, instructor guidance, assessment standards and diploma requirements. Delivery format is not a pricing tier.
Venue clarification: UCCJ Kitasenju Church serves as the Batch 71 classroom venue. The DME program is provided and administered by SEELS Co., Ltd. Venue use does not itself indicate church sponsorship, accreditation or responsibility for the program. Calendar adjustments and required makeup dates will be communicated directly to enrolled learners.
Independent two-day training
Introductory Course (IC)
Take the IC independently for practical skills, professional knowledge and a Certificate of Completion. Continuing into the one-year DME is optional.

If you complete the IC first and later join the cohort
The ¥18,000 IC tuition may be credited toward the ¥198,000 full cohort tuition when the learner upgrades within 12 months and meets the current admission conditions. The remaining balance would be ¥180,000, or an example of ¥15,000 × 12 months.

SEELS DME Diploma

Important credential information
The DME is a private professional-development program and the diploma is issued by SEELS Co., Ltd. Completion does not by itself confer a Japanese government teaching license, university degree, automatic employment, authorization to operate a school or guaranteed income.
