Course Purpose
This course provides teachers with a practical entry point into the EQ-English method—integrating TESOL fundamentals with expressive communication techniques. Participants will be introduced to 15 core
emotional expressions through sign language and the
CAE Loop pedagogy (Cause → Action → Emotion), culminating in a short teaching demo.
Specifically, the course aims to:
- Equip teachers with essential SEL–EQ-English tools that promote inclusive education for all, while preparing teachers and learners to thrive in the digital era and the age of AI.
- Raise awareness and sensitivity toward the inclusion of people with hearing impairments and persons with disabilities (PWD).
- Provide a preview of the full Diploma program.
- Serve as an entry requirement for the SEELS Teachers Academy's Integrated Diploma in TESOL & SEL–EQ-English.
